Introducing The DailEE Gobble

In the three months since our launch, we’ve brought you discounts at over 500 partner restaurants in New York and San Francisco. We hope this wide spread of eateries includes some of your local favorites. But when it comes to venturing out for something new, where does one start?

We’ve gone and done a few things here to help you along. First, we’re glad many of you are enjoying the search and filter functions on our newly revamped website, as well as taking advantage of the Yelp ratings and reviews which are now linked to every offer. We’re also trying out something new with our friends over at Eatery Expert. Each Monday, they’ll feature five of their choice DailyGobble restaurants on The DailEE Gobble. Try any of their recommended eateries, write “EE” or “Eatery Expert” on your receipt, and get an additional $2 off your meal! This special promo only applies to your first visit at each restaurant, but with five options, that’s up to $10 in extra savings each week!

Looking Back at July

From wining and dining some of New York’s most food savvy individuals to launching new products and promotions, July proved to be a busy month for us at DailyGobble. Here are some of our most memorable moments.

In New York, we celebrated America’s birthday by tearing down a wall and expanding our office. We’re really enjoying the extra room!

With the help of Chris H. and Helena H., two of New York’s most elite Yelpers, DailyGobble hosted its first product launch party at Red Egg in Chinatown. Over seventy New York foodies showed up and feasted on a rotating dim sum buffet, including plump sesame balls filled with sweet longan and savory turnip cakes speckled with dried shrimp and pork sausage. When not hard at working eating, our guests were encouraged to give us feedback. Many of them were hearing about DailyGobble for the first time, and one person commented that, “Overall, [DailyGobble is] a very solid idea that makes it extremely easy for the user. I’ll be promoting it to my friends.” A huge thanks go to Chris and Helena for making the night a raucous success.

Last week, we launched a special promotion in partnership with Maoz Vegetarian, offering users up to $6 off their order at their 6 Manhattan locations and 1 Hoboken location. We hope this promotion will end with a regular loyalty discount at Maoz and a better understanding for us on how our product can serve chain restaurants.

And last (but certainly not least!), we launched new versions of our website and Android app, which include user-recommended features such as search by restaurant and filter by cuisine. You’ll also note that the Android app not only runs 10x faster, but allows you to withdraw DailyGobble funds to PayPal directly from your phone! We’re eager to hear your feedback.
